Shouldn't you be part of this movement???
Those of you who have been with us since the beginning remember that this whole business started with the notion of giving. We donated one hat for every hat sold. Although the idea was great and we did donate over 250 hats, it actually became hard to find organizations willing to accept products. They are all in need of money, of course, which got our wheels turning to see what we could do to make this happen. We reopened Sew Vermont Kids as an eco-friendly shop to help better the environment by using fabrics that were organic or sustainable. This has worked out well, but we are still missing that little piece of our mission...
Now that winter is coming and fleece is far from being eco-friendly, we wondered how we could bring our hats back to keep our kids and your warm all winter long.
Our Etsy shop was born!!! We are using our etsy shop to sell our warm and cozy fleece products and some one of a kind outfits...eventually. So look back often! Want to know the best part??? We are DONATING 10% of ALL proceeds to grassroots organizations aimed at bettering the lives of children here in the US as well as other parts of the world!! The first charity is a local group of people here in Lincoln, Vermont that have are working to create Trinity Yard School in Cape Three Points, Ghana. So, if you have been missing our "giving back" notion....then welcome back!!! Thanks for any and all business and PLEASE help us to get the word out. The more we sell, the more that gets donated.
